Job Description

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician for a 42-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Oct 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient care with a focus on advanced gastrointestinal procedures, including various upper GI endoscopies and ERCPs, all while managing a 24-hour call schedule.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
  • Execute upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
  • Conduct upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
  • Administer upper GI endoscopy with injection of varices
  • Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - Diagnostic
  • Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - Therapeutic
