Job Description
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 180-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This full-time role involves providing primary care services, focusing on approximately 36 patient-facing clinic hours per week with additional administrative duties. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., aligning with standard clinic operating hours. The successful candidate will manage patient visits, aiming for a target of at least 2.0 completed visits per clinic hour, with appointment lengths generally not exceeding 30 minutes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care services to patients, focusing on Internal Medicine and Family Medicine cases.
- Manage patient visits effectively, aiming for a minimum of 2.0 completed visits per clinic hour.
- Maintain appointment lengths generally not exceeding 30 minutes.
- Dedicate approximately 36 patient-facing clinic hours per week.
- Complete appropriate administrative and in-basket tasks.
