Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for an engaging locum tenens assignment in Idaho, starting Mar 30, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics, handling 20-30 patients per day with 20-minute average visits, encompassing well visits, sick visits, sports physicals, screenings, preventions, referrals, lacerations, and broken bones. The schedule is typically 8am-4:30pm, focusing on comprehensive family care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
  • Manage an average patient load of 20-30 per day, with 20-minute average visit times.
  • Conduct well visits, sick visits, sports physicals, screenings, preventions, and referrals.
  • Address lacerations and manage broken bones.
  • Utilize on-site lab and X-ray capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the on-site OB doctor for patient care coordination.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
  • Experience with Greenway EMR.
