Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an exciting 248-day assignment with our client in Arizona, starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care, including preventive and acute services, chronic disease management, and minor procedures, with a typical schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM. The Physician will manage patients of all ages, handle a variety of chronic and acute cases, including prenatal care for OB patients, and assist with urgent medical needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide services within the Family Practice scope of practice, including preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, mental health, minor procedures, and coordination of specialty care for patients of all ages.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics, making observations appropriate to the outpatient underlying disease and treatment plan, including current symptoms.
  • Review the patient’s medications, diet, therapy course, and adherence to management plan and patient observations.
  • Modify regimen as required, instruct and counsel patients as needed.
  • Perform or assist other physicians in the performance of minor and outpatient surgery or assist in the Treatment Room with urgent medical needs.
  • Refer patients to appropriate contracted medical or other government facilities, providing full clinical information for care and diagnostics procedures that cannot be adequately provided at the health center.
  • Coordinate and integrate information obtained into the ongoing health care program at the health center and assure the provision of timely follow-up care as required.
  • Manage chronic and acute cases common to outpatient family practice in Native American populations, including Diabetes, High blood pressure, emergent illnesses, cold, flu, and COVID.
  • See OB patients for outpatient visits and provide prenatal care.
