Our client in Arizona seeks a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 124-day assignment beginning Sep 7, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive care within a Family Practice scope, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management, performing minor procedures, and coordinating specialty care for patients of all ages. The schedule is typically 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on outpatient clinics and addressing a wide range of patient needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide services within the Family Practice scope of practice, encompassing preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, mental health, minor procedures, and coordination of specialty care for patients of all ages.
Conduct outpatient clinics, making observations appropriate to the patient's underlying disease and treatment plan, including current symptoms.
Review patient medications, diet, therapy course, and adherence to management plan and patient observations.
Modify treatment regimens as required, providing instruction and counseling to patients.
Perform or assist other physicians in minor and outpatient surgery, or assist in the Treatment Room with urgent medical needs.
Refer patients to appropriate contracted medical or other government facilities, providing full clinical information for care and diagnostics procedures that cannot be adequately provided onsite.
Coordinate and integrate information obtained into the ongoing health care program at the health center, ensuring timely follow-up care as required.
