Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin starting Jan 20, 2026. This opportunity requires board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medical Services, proficiency with EPIC EHR, and comfort performing all standard emergency department procedures. The schedule and shift hours are to be determined.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care in an emergency department setting
  • Perform procedures such as intubations, central lines, chest tubes, FAST exams, and lumbar punctures
  • Respond to anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology cases
  • Collaborate with the laboratory and maintain OR response times
  • Provide support to the labor and delivery department


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medical Services
  • Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
  • Must hold a valid Wisconsin license or be eligible through IMLC
  • Proficiency with EPIC EHR required
