Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care in low to medium acuity settings across five critical access hospital sites
  • Evaluate and manage trauma cases, transferring severe cases to higher-level trauma centers as appropriate
  • Collaborate with onsite and nearby specialists for comprehensive patient care
  • Work with patient volumes ranging from 1.0 to 1.6 patients per hour
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
