This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and features 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have board certification in Emergency Medicine and experience managing a variety of acute cases in a dynamic emergency department setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide acute care and management of patients in the emergency department
  • Perform timely assessment and stabilization of critical and trauma cases
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive emergency care
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and clinical interventions
  • Maintain compliance with facility protocols and quality standards

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required (must be certified within 7 years of completing residency)
  • Must hold a valid Virginia license
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Acceptable backgrounds: ABEM/ABEOM, Internal Medicine or Family Practice with emergency medicine experience
