Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute care and management of patients in the emergency department
- Perform timely assessment and stabilization of critical and trauma cases
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive emergency care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and clinical interventions
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and quality standards
Additional Information
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine required (must be certified within 7 years of completing residency)
- Must hold a valid Virginia license
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Acceptable backgrounds: ABEM/ABEOM, Internal Medicine or Family Practice with emergency medicine experience
