Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 365-day assignment in Texas, starting Jun 7, 2026. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, 7-7, within a Trauma Center. The physician will provide critical care, managing a diverse patient demographic including trauma, pediatric, and geriatric cases, while performing essential lifesaving procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency care within a Trauma Center.
  • Manage patient care across 5 ER beds.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Family Practice physicians, a Pediatrician, and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Utilize clinic-based specialist coverage as needed.
  • Facilitate appropriate patient referrals to specialized centers.
  • Care for a diverse patient demographic, including approximately 20% trauma, 30% pediatric, and 25% geriatric cases.
  • Perform essential lifesaving procedures, including intubation, extubation, ventilation management, histories and physicals (H&P), and emergency codes.
