Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 5-day assignment in Texas, starting May 1, 2026. This role involves critical access ER coverage, with shifts available for 12 or 24 hours, addressing a diverse patient demographic including trauma, pediatric, and geriatric cases. The physician will provide essential care in a Trauma Center.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide critical access ER coverage.
- See patients in a Trauma Center.
- Manage a patient demographic including 20% Trauma, 30% Pediatric, and 25% Geriatric cases.
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including Intubation, Extubation, Ventilation Management, comprehensive History & Physical exams, and manage Emergency Codes.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required.
- EMR: Cerner.
