Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical services in a free-standing emergency department
- Manage a diverse range of acute and urgent cases for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with advanced practitioners and other healthcare staff to deliver coordinated patient care
- Utilize on-site lab, radiology, and CT services for diagnostics and treatment
- Ensure clinical documentation meets facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all protocols and quality assurance guidelines
Additional Information
- Active Texas medical license and DEA (with Texas address) required
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (or osteopathic equivalents); must be residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine specialty certification
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
- Must provide CME and case logs for the past 2 years, all education and training diplomas, Social Security card, driver’s license, and color photo
- TB/Flu clearance required
- Annual requirements include 8 hours of Stroke CME and 8 hours of Trauma CME
