We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Texas beginning on Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p; 7p-7a) and 11-hour advanced practice provider coverage. The assignment involves working in a trauma facility, providing care across a range of acute cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a trauma setting
  • Manage cases including special services, ambulatory, obstetrics, surgery, emergency, and medical/surgical patients
  • Stabilize and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants during scheduled coverage
  • Deliver care in a chest pain accredited facility with 24-hour physician coverage


Additional Information

  • Must hold a current Texas medical license, board certification in Emergency Medicine, and a valid Texas DEA
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
