Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a trauma setting
- Manage cases including special services, ambulatory, obstetrics, surgery, emergency, and medical/surgical patients
- Stabilize and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants during scheduled coverage
- Deliver care in a chest pain accredited facility with 24-hour physician coverage
Additional Information
- Must hold a current Texas medical license, board certification in Emergency Medicine, and a valid Texas DEA
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
