Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive care in the emergency department
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute patient presentations across all age groups
- Perform emergency procedures as indicated and appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all facility protocols, safety, and quality standards
Additional Information
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- ABEM certification preferred
- Must be licensed to practice in Texas
- Emergency department experience is essential for Family Medicine-trained applicants
