We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Doctor for a locum tenens assignment in Texas. This ongoing opportunity begins Feb 2, 2026, and extends for 36 days, with a minimum of five shifts required. Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine is required, and candidates must hold current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care in the emergency department
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute patient presentations across all age groups
  • Perform emergency procedures as indicated and appropriate
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Adhere to all facility protocols, safety, and quality standards

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • ABEM certification preferred
  • Must be licensed to practice in Texas
  • Emergency department experience is essential for Family Medicine-trained applicants
