Job Description

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This position begins on Dec 1, 2025, with 12-hour day and night shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a daily). Physicians with EM, FM, or IM training and emergency department experience are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality acute care in a dynamic environment while supporting critical patient needs on a locum basis.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
  • Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Perform emergency procedures as required
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols
  • Adhere to all relevant clinical and regulatory standards


Additional Information

  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine preferred; will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with emergency department experience
  • Must hold a valid Texas medical license
  • Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
