We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Jan 1, 2026. This role features 12-hour shifts with physician coverage from 7a-7p and 7p-7a daily. Board certified or board eligible EM-trained physicians are preferred; FM/IM physicians with ED experience will also be considered. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
  • Stabilize and manage patients in urgent and emergent conditions
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure effective patient care delivery
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures as appropriate for emergency medicine
  • Document all patient encounters and treatments accurately


Additional Information

  • Texas medical license required
  • Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM physicians with emergency department experience accepted
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
