Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas starting Dec 30, 2025. This opportunity offers both day and night shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a), providing critical care coverage within the emergency department. Candidates must be board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform emergency department procedures including intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction and splinting, chest tube placement, CPR, suture repair, incision and drainage, and central line placement
  • Deliver high-quality acute care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions
  • Respond to code situations and provide advanced life support as needed


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
