We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a one-day locum tenens assignment at a Trauma Center in Texas. This critical role commences on Aug 27, 2025, with a demanding 24-hour shift from 7a-7a. The facility includes hospital and an emergency department, providing vital medical services and limited specialist coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform all lifesaving procedures including:
  • Intubation
  • Extubation
  • Ventilation management
  • Conduct health assessments and physical examinations (H&P)
  • Respond to emergency codes
  • Manage patient care for a diverse age group including 20% pediatrics and 25% geriatrics
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination


Additional Information

  • A Texas medical license is required
  • Prior experience in rural healthcare and emergency medicine is highly preferred
