Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 15-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Apr 15, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment and treatment within a busy emergency department, with various shift hours to ensure continuous coverage. Join our client and provide critical care in a dynamic setting, handling a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess department status, review patient charts, EMS arrivals, and pending labs or orders.
  • Facilitate patient handoffs with incoming and outgoing providers.
  • Provide continuous patient evaluation and treatment, even during high-capacity periods in the ED.
  • Consult and coordinate across specialties to manage boarding and patient flow.
  • Document and chart patient encounters thoroughly.
  • Manage a diverse range of cases including Trauma level III incidents (MVAs, Falls), and acute medical conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, headaches, infections, allergic reactions, pneumonia, COPD, burns, behavioral health, ENT issues, stroke, and sepsis.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
  • EMR System: Epic.
