Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity is focused on night shift coverage with 10- and 12-hour shifts across multiple sites. Qualified candidates must be board certified or truly board eligible in Emergency Medicine, with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform emergency medical procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and incision and drainage
  • Provide acute care for all patient age groups presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
  • Deliver care in accordance with the standards of an Emergency Medicine residency-trained physician
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation requirements

Additional Information
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine required (ABEM accepted)
  • Must hold a current Pennsylvania state medical license
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
  • Stroke certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are not required if board certification criteria are met
  • Must be willing to work exclusively night shifts as needed for coverage
