Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity involves 5-10 shifts per month, primarily nights and weekends, with 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a and 7a-7p. The ideal candidate is experienced in emergency medicine and holds all required certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency cases
  • Perform advanced resuscitation and stabilization procedures as needed
  • Coordinate patient care with nursing and ancillary staff
  • Document all patient encounters and care provided in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Maintain adherence to all regulatory and facility-specific requirements


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Ohio medical license or IMLC with proof of Letter of Qualification within three business days of offer acceptance
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA) required
  • Must have current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years recent emergency medicine experience required
  • Clean background required
  • COVID vaccination required
  • All qualifications and certifications must be provided at the time of name clear
