Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient encounters and clinical findings in accordance with facility protocols
  • Adhere to best practices in emergency medicine and keep certifications current


Additional Information

  • Active New York state medical license, current DEA, and ABMS board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • ACLS, PALS (AHA), and ATLS certifications required for Emergency Medicine boarded physicians
  • FM/IM boarded physicians also require ACLS, PALS (AHA), and ATLS
  • No residency training requirements; EM, FM, and IM residency accepted
  • Must be able to work both day and night 12-hour shifts
