Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans
- Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients, including pediatric and adult populations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, coordinated patient care
- Document all medical encounters and maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Additional Information
- Active New York state license, DEA, and board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABMS boards only) required
- Acceptable board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine (with appropriate residency)
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- No residency-specific training requirements; EM-FM-IM residency accepted
