We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Dec 13, 2025, and features 24-hour shifts with physician shift times from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. Candidates must hold an active New Mexico medical license and appropriate board certification in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad spectrum of acute conditions
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and initiate appropriate treatment plans
- Manage urgent and emergent cases, including trauma and critical care interventions
- Collaborate with clinical staff and support personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in accordance with facility protocols
- Adhere to all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must have an active New Mexico medical license prior to credentialing
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine required (ABEM, AOBEM, or equivalent)
- ATLS required for all; if not board certified in Emergency Medicine, ACLS and PALS are also required
- Documentation of the last 5 intubations required if not board certified in Emergency Medicine
- NM CSR and DEA with New Mexico address required
- Assignment is ongoing with potential for extension
