Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department within a hospital
  • Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line placement
  • Manage adult and geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and access specialist backup as needed
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Adapt to a high-volume, high-acuity environment with academic consultative support


Additional Information

  • New Jersey license required
  • Trauma experience highly preferred due to case acuity and volume
  • Board certification not specified as required
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in all required emergency procedures
