Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department within a hospital
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line placement
- Manage adult and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and access specialist backup as needed
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Adapt to a high-volume, high-acuity environment with academic consultative support
Additional Information
- New Jersey license required
- Trauma experience highly preferred due to case acuity and volume
- Board certification not specified as required
- Must demonstrate proficiency in all required emergency procedures
