Job Description

We are seeking a Family Medicine Emergency Medicine Physician for a 16-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska. This opportunity begins on Jan 16, 2026, and features scheduled ER shifts Fridays 7am-5pm with on-call coverage until Monday at 7am. The assignment includes multiple weekend shifts during January and February.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide direct patient care in the emergency department during assigned hours
  • Manage a range of acute and urgent cases as an Emergency Medicine provider
  • Remain on call outside of scheduled ER hours through Monday morning
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
  • Adhere to protocols and guidelines for emergency care delivery


Additional Information

  • Active NE medical license required
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
  • Must hold current ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine strongly preferred
