Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-day assignment beginning Aug 1, 2026. This role involves providing standard solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM, and managing a daily patient volume of 90-100.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts.
• Manage a daily patient volume of 90-100 patients.
• Care for patients in an Open ICU environment.
• Address cases potentially involving Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certification: Emergency Medicine
• EMR System: Meditech EHR
• Must be North Carolina Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
