Responsibilities and Duties
Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
Perform necessary emergency procedures in accordance with current clinical guidelines
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
Adhere to established protocols and policies for emergency department operations
Additional Information
Active North Carolina medical license and DEA required at time of start
Board certification in Emergency Medicine required; BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics accepted with minimum 2 years recent emergency medicine experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for non-ABEM providers
Must provide documentation of CME over the past 2 years
Medical diploma, internship/residency certificates, and board certification documentation required
