We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Nov 3, 2025. This position offers 12-hour day shifts from 7am to 7pm, providing coverage in an emergency medicine setting. Candidates must be board certified in emergency medicine, family practice, or internal medicine and hold active North Carolina licensure.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions
  • Perform emergency procedures as required
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, hospital policies, and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (AAPS/ABPS boards accepted)
  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required unless ABEM boarded
  • Must provide proof of flu vaccination, PPD, immunizations, certificate of insurance, CME documentation for the past 2 years, diplomas, and a recent photo
  • Active North Carolina medical license required
