Responsibilities and Duties
Provide solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts
Manage acute care cases in an open ICU environment
Treat a daily patient volume of 90-100 with an annual volume of 32,000
Deliver care for a broad spectrum of emergency presentations for all age groups
Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
Adhere to facility protocols and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Additional Information
Must hold an active North Carolina medical license
Required board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS), Medicaid Certification
Must be credentialed with NC Medicaid and enrolled in PECOS
