Job Description

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Hospitalist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri starting Jan 1, 2026. This flexible schedule position is ideal for a physician with active MO licensure, DEA, and experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine, with current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care
  • Manage admissions, daily patient monitoring, and discharges
  • Respond to acute medical issues and emergencies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols and quality standards


Additional Information

  • Active Missouri state medical license required
  • Board certification in Hospital Medicine required
  • DEA registration required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • ER experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine required
