Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Missouri starting Dec 1, 2025. This 36-day opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 10- and 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, and 24-hour physician coverage on weekends. Providers should be comfortable performing all standard ER procedures in a dynamic emergency department setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in the emergency department
  • Perform all standard ER procedures as required
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to deliver effective patient care
  • Manage a variety of acute and urgent medical conditions
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working days, nights, and weekends per department needs
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters


Additional Information

  • Must have active Missouri medical license
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required (FM or IM with EM experience considered)
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
  • Locum providers must be able to start as soon as credentialed
