Job Description
Our client in ME is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 2-day assignment starting Apr 14, 2026. This role involves night shifts from 5:30p-6:30a at a busy Trauma Facility, providing critical care and performing general ED procedures with dedicated APP support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage cases within a Trauma Facility.
- Perform general ED procedures including intubation, ventilation management, and placement of lines.
- Provide varied coverage with dedicated APP support and 26 hours of MD coverage.
- Be comfortable with independent emergency medicine practice; urgent care and family medicine experience will not work for this role.
- Collaborate with specialists in Surgery, Anesthesia, OBGYN, Intensive Care, and Radiology.
- Manage patient transfers.
