Job Description

Our client in Louisiana is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 90-day assignment beginning Apr 1, 2026. This role involves covering both day (7 AM - 7 PM) and night (7 PM - 7 AM) shifts, with responsibilities including providing specialty backup for various departments such as OB/GYN, Cardiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide specialty backup (on call) for OB/GYN, Cardiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics.
  • Oversee services including in-patient and out-patient surgical, emergency medicine, a centrally monitored Intensive Care Unit (ICU), maternity and newborn nursery, respiratory, radiology, laboratory, and rehabilitation, speech, and nutritional therapies.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
  • The facility uses T-System EMR.
