Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive emergency medicine services to patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
  • Adhere to established protocols and standards of emergency care


Additional Information

  • Current Louisiana state license, board certification, and DEA are required
  • Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required if not ABEM certified
