We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. This opportunity begins on Nov 13, 2025, and consists of 12-hour day shifts, including 6a-6p coverage and collaboration with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Fast Track from 10a-10p. Board certification in Emergency Medical Services and active Louisiana licensure are required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a range of acute conditions
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the Fast Track area
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient encounters
- Maintain a high standard of patient safety and quality care
- Adhere to protocols and standards required by the department
Additional Information
- Must have an active Louisiana medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with PALS, ATLS, and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Board certification in Emergency Medical Services required
