Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers night shifts only, from 7pm to 7am, with approximately 15 shifts per month. The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible and holds an active Illinois license with required certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform normal physician procedures in the emergency department
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with current standards of emergency medicine
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all required safety, quality, and regulatory standards


Additional Information

  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine required
  • Illinois state medical license (CSR) and DEA required to apply
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
