Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in a 30,000 annual visit emergency department
- Deliver patient-centered services in a trauma setting
- Work collaboratively with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Manage acute care and trauma cases across all age groups
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of clinical encounters
Additional Information
- Active Iowa medical license, CDS, and DEA required
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (or osteopathic equivalents)
- Must be residency trained and certified in specialty
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Recent CME and case logs (past 2 years), plus copies of all diplomas required
- Up-to-date immunization records must be provided
