This opportunity starts on Mar 1, 2026, with a 36-day contract at a trauma center offering 24-hour physician coverage and 30-hour NP/PA support. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medical care in a 30,000 annual visit emergency department
• Deliver patient-centered services in a trauma setting
• Work collaboratively with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Manage acute care and trauma cases across all age groups
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of clinical encounters

Additional Information

• Active Iowa medical license, CDS, and DEA required
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (or osteopathic equivalents)
• Must be residency trained and certified in specialty
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
• Recent CME and case logs (past 2 years), plus copies of all diplomas required
• Up-to-date immunization records must be provided
