Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia starting Nov 3, 2025. The schedule includes both day and night shifts, with a need for at least two nocturnists and candidates comfortable covering a minimum of five night shifts per month as well as some day shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
  • Diagnose and manage emergent and urgent medical issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with facility protocols
  • Adhere to all clinical and operational policies


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Georgia medical license
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required; board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine may be considered
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Seeking candidates with flexibility to cover both day and night shifts, with a particular need for nocturnists
