Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a range of acute conditions
- Perform patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans
- Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients in the emergency setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document all patient encounters and procedures accurately using Meditech EHR
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine required; Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience considered
- Must possess current FL medical license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
