Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features 12-hour day and night shifts. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in all emergency care procedures and be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment utilizing Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform comprehensive emergency care and stabilization for patients
  • Demonstrate proficiency in emergency care procedures including central access, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization
  • Provide timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment for acute medical and trauma cases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient management
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in Meditech EHR


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Florida medical license
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • EM board eligible after successful completion of an accredited residency, or FM/IM with 3 years of experience (for FSEDs only)
