We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features block scheduling with both 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. The assignment involves providing a full range of emergency care procedures in a hospital-based environment utilizing Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform comprehensive emergency care, including Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, and Orthopedic stabilization
  • Manage acute medical and trauma cases in accordance with current clinical protocols
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR
  • Collaborate effectively with the emergency department team


Additional Information

  • Must have current Florida medical license
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required, or board eligibility after completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may be considered for free-standing emergency departments with at least 3 years of experience
