Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive emergency care, including Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, and Orthopedic stabilization
- Manage acute medical and trauma cases in accordance with current clinical protocols
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR
- Collaborate effectively with the emergency department team
Additional Information
- Must have current Florida medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine required, or board eligibility after completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may be considered for free-standing emergency departments with at least 3 years of experience
