The assignment features a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult and geriatric emergency cases, and offers 24-hour physician and advanced practice provider coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency care in an emergency department within a hospital
  • Stabilize and manage traumatic patients in a non-designated trauma facility
  • Perform all lifesaving procedures including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement, and central line placement
  • Deliver care to all age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric populations
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation and workflow management
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure comprehensive patient care


Additional Information

  • Florida medical license required
  • Trauma experience preferred but not required
  • 24-hour physician and APP coverage provided
  • Board certification not required
