Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Nov 10, 2025, for an 18-week engagement. This opportunity features a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts in a critical access hospital, with full 24-hour physician coverage and APP support on weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care in a 10-bed emergency department within a hospital
  • Stabilize traumatic patients and manage all lifesaving procedures
  • Perform intubation, ventilator management, and arterial/central line placements
  • Deliver care to patients of all ages, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers during weekend shifts
  • Utilize EPowerDoc EMR for clinical documentation


Additional Information

  • Active Florida medical license required
  • Trauma experience preferred but not required
  • Board certification not required
