Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a busy setting
  • Work collaboratively with emergency room staff, including nurses and other physicians
  • Utilize the Meditech EHR system for patient documentation and management
  • Participate in phone interviews with site directors to discuss potential locum roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all required certifications and training, particularly Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Requires active Florida medical license
  • Prior experience in an emergency medicine environment is highly desirable
