Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a busy setting
- Work collaboratively with emergency room staff, including nurses and other physicians
- Utilize the Meditech EHR system for patient documentation and management
- Participate in phone interviews with site directors to discuss potential locum roles and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and training, particularly Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
Additional Information
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Requires active Florida medical license
- Prior experience in an emergency medicine environment is highly desirable
