Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of patients in response to acute illness and injury
- Utilize a high level of expertise in emergency medicine to manage varying degrees of cases from minor injuries to critical illnesses
- Perform procedures including but not limited to intubation, central line placement, and suturing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and assess patient treatments
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and comprehensively
Additional Information
- Must hold Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
- Required to have active ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- Valid Florida medical license required
