Responsibilities and Duties
Provide acute care for emergency department patients, including initial assessment, diagnosis, and management
Collaborate with physicians and other advanced practice providers to deliver care within a Trauma Center
Manage a variety of emergency cases
Participate in both day and night shift rotations to ensure continuous patient coverage
Document patient encounters in accordance with facility policies
Adhere to all regulatory and hospital requirements
Additional Information
Must have active Virginia PA license prior to credentialing
DEA registration required
Emergency Medicine certification required; Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP) also accepted
Experience in high-volume emergency settings preferred
