We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Jan 14, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with day, night, and weekend shifts, including 6A-2P, 11A-11P, 2P-10P, 10P-6A, and 11A-11P. Board certification in Emergency Medicine and current ACLS are required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medicine care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform procedures and interventions as appropriate to the emergency setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Adhere to all departmental and facility protocols

Additional Information

• Active Virginia license required
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Shift preference includes days, nights, and weekends; candidates must be available for all shift types
