Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical care in a high-acuity ER setting
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent conditions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver efficient patient care
Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
Perform procedures within the scope of emergency medicine as credentialed
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Additional Information
Active NY state license, DEA, and board certification required
Must have completed an EM, FM, or IM residency
Required certifications: ACLS, PALS (AHA), ATLS
Must provide supporting documentation including CME and case logs from the past 2 years
Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification preferred for NPs
Ongoing need with potential for assignment extension
