Schedule: Day 7a-7p, Mid 10a-10p, Night 5p-5a, Weekends 8a-8p and 2p-2a; 12x12 or 144 hours monthly
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency care in a hospital with an emergency department
Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement, and central line placement
Respond to a high-acuity, high-volume patient population with adults and geriatrics
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and access robust specialist backup, including consultants from academic centers
Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
Additional Information
New Jersey state license required
Trauma experience highly preferred
Must be comfortable with all critical emergency procedures
