Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Mississippi starting Feb 2, 2026. Multiple full-time positions are available with varying shifts, including both daytime and overnight coverage. This is an ongoing need and offers a dynamic schedule for experienced providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medicine care under established supervising protocols
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case logs
  • Meet all continuing medical education requirements (40 CME credits)
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with board and certification standards
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams


Additional Information

  • Active Mississippi license required
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • NCCPA certification required
  • DEA with CSPA required
  • Certifications needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Supervising protocol in place
